Since our inception in 1997, SINA Hospitality has expanded to operate over 2600 guest rooms in 31 premium-branded hotels across the South East. Built on the strong foundation created by our Chairman, we have earned a strong track record of on-time and on-budget developments for world-class hotel brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Best Western, and Choice collecting multiple industry awards along the way. We have never relied on investors, backed out of a hotel agreement, or abandoned a construction project.

Anil C. Patel, Chairman
Anil C. Patel, Chairman

As Chairman and Founder, Anil Patel laid the core principles for SINA Hospitality and the overall culture that we lead with every day. Anil remains active in the company by interacting with financial institutions and general contractors on projects developed by SINA Hospitality. Anil earned his degree from the University of Alabama Huntsville and is also a Certified Hotel Administrator.

As the Co-Founder and CEO, Ravi Patel oversees the family-based culture, strategic planning, and overall operations for all of SINA Hospitality’s properties, which include the Intercontinental, Hilton, Choice, and Marriott brands. Ravi leads all SINA construction projects, hotel development and franchise negotiations, financial and industry interactions, and hotel acquisitions. As part of SINA’s unique culture, Ravi maintains relationships with all hotel management companies engaged with SINA Hospitality. Ravi is also on the Marriott International Capital Asset Planning + Execution Committee (CAPE) across all Marriott Properties in North America, serves on the board of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Franchise Council, and is locally on the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. Ravi earned his degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and is based out of our Richmond, VA Headquarters.

Riddhi Patel, Vice President
Riddhi Patel, Vice President

As Vice President, Riddhi Patel brought several years of management and leadership skills to SINA Hospitality when she joined in 2020. She leads all SINA capital improvements and renovations as well as procurement for new hotels. Riddhi oversees our leadership in hotel management, hotel project management, asset management, hotel development, contract negotiations, and construction project management. Riddhi is based out of our Richmond, VA Headquarters.

Shanna Fenn

As the Regional Director of Operations, Shanna Fenn brought several years of management and leadership skills to SINA Hospitality when she joined in 2019. Shanna has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and is an expert in team building. Shanna is in charge of all hotels in Virginia, West Virginia, and Missouri. Shanna is based out of our Richmond, VA Headquarters.

Kevin Robinson

Kevin joined SINA Hospitality in 2022 and brings over 10 years of engineering experience in the hospitality industry. As the Area Chief Engineer, Kevin is in charge of all hotels in the Richmond Virginia area.
